This Cookie Policy explains how NOBLEDRIVE ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (Cookie Law), the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG).
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and can remember certain preferences or settings.
1.1 Types of Cookies
- Session cookies: temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
- First-party cookies: set directly by NOBLEDRIVE or our website platform.
- Third-party cookies: set by trusted service providers we use (for example our payment provider Mollie).
2. How We Use Cookies
We currently use cookies only for basic, essential functionality and to remember your cookie choices.
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to work correctly and to deliver the services you request. They enable core features such as:
- Operation of our booking and contact forms.
- Secure processing of online payments via Mollie.
- Basic security and session management.
Legal basis: these cookies are necessary for the performance of our service and do not require prior consent under Dutch law.
2.2 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember limited choices you make on the website, such as whether you have accepted or rejected cookies. This prevents the cookie banner from appearing every time you visit.
Legal basis: we place these cookies with your consent via the cookie banner.
3. Cookies We Use
The table below gives an overview of the types of cookies that may be used on this website.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (e.g. a technical session ID) | Strictly necessary | Maintains your session while you navigate the site and use forms. | Session (deleted when you close your browser) |
| cookie_consent | Functional | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. | Up to 1 year |
| Mollie payment cookies (e.g. mollie_*) | Strictly necessary | Used by Mollie to process and secure your online payment. | Session or short-lived persistent cookie (according to Mollie’s policy) |
We do not currently use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) or marketing / advertising cookies (such as remarketing pixels). If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before placing such cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 Mollie (Payment Provider)
For online payments we use Mollie. When you pay online, Mollie may place strictly necessary cookies to process and secure the transaction. For more information, please see Mollie’s Privacy Policy.
4.2 Other Third Parties
Apart from Mollie, we currently do not use external analytics or advertising platforms that place cookies via our website. If we start using additional services in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated before those cookies are activated.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
5.1 Cookie Banner
When you visit our website for the first time, a cookie banner informs you about the use of cookies. Where applicable, you can choose to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the website cannot function properly without them.
5.2 Browser Settings
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions can be found at:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Please note: disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website, for example when using the booking or contact forms.
6. Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) option. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to these signals. We respect your privacy and recommend using the cookie settings and browser options described above to manage tracking and cookies.
7. Your Rights
Because cookies can involve the processing of personal data, you have rights under GDPR/AVG, such as:
- the right to access, correct or delete your personal data;
- the right to withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time;
- the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
For more details about how we handle personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
8. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using new types of cookies or if the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest version.
